Have you tried ice skating in downtown Middletown?

The City of Middletown has its own ice-skating rink.
It’s not Rockefeller Center but it is nice.

People were smiling as they glided along in their skates.

It’s located in downtown Middletown at the corner of West Main Street and Union Street.

(About a block or so west of City Hall in the new outdoor pavilion built for the Farmer’s Market. )

Middletown’s Parks and Recreation Department is running the rink which is refrigerated.  They hope to have it open for use until sometime in March.
Skating is scheduled in sessions throughout the day.  For just a dollar, you can rent a pair of skates and a helmet. The rink is located at the pavilion used for the Farmer’s Market at the corner of West Main and Union Streets.
If you have any questions, the Middletown Park’s and Recreation Department can be contacted at 845-346-4180, Monday through Friday, 8:30a-4:30p.
Let’s all go out and have some fun on the ice!
